I wanted to update you on were we are in regards to our fundraising for the Puerto Rico Mission Trip The Franks Family will be taking together with the CRFUMC Youth Group June 2-7th

To Those That Read My Blog…

I am writing to let you know that Ashley, Laura, Emily, and I have the opportunity to go on a short-term mission trip to Puerto Rico from June 2-7, 2024, with the First United Methodist Church of Castle Rock through Thirst Missions. We will be doing service projects, Vacation Bible School, outreach, sports ministry, and mercy ministry. This will be the first time all four of us will be going on the same trip.

Our goal is to go with servant hearts, ready to show Christ through our actions as well as our words, while at the same time having open minds to get to know the Puerto Ricans and learn their culture. I know this will be a stretching and challenging experience for me, but I also know that I will be blessed by the experience as I see God at work in Puerto Rico!

The people of Puerto Rico have many needs, both physical and spiritual. There are still many reeling from the hurricane, either homeless or in dilapidated structures.

We are searching for people to partner with us both financially and in prayer. The total trip cost is $1,798.40 which I need to raise by March 15 th , 2024. We will be working to raise some of the money myself through fundraising activities with the church. You can be praying for our group, our ministries, safety, and that God would work in us and through us to bless the people of Puerto Rico.
