Today’s focus verse is “we will not fear, though the earth give way.”

Today when reading Psalm 46 and looking at today’s page I have found myself thinking about what can we do to Be Still and know God?

We should not fear God, and open ourselves up to where God needs us to be. Far too often we turn away from God because of fear. So I turn you to 1 John 4:18 NRSV “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.” Don’t scared of God who loves and cares for you. Come to God fully be present, be still and get to know God’s love. That has the power to transform.
