McFarlin UMC Stop Hunger Now Update

Friends of Stop Hunger Now,

We are delighted to announce that the meals from your respective meal packaging events have been shipped in a container totaling 285,120 meals from our Dallas/Fort Worth warehouse to Guatemala. If this is your second notification email it simply means that a portion of your meals have gone to impact multiple programs.

This shipment is being sent through Reach Now International to Alianza Evangélica de Guatemala or Evangelical Alliance of Guatemala (AEG), a Guatemalan non-profit.

Established 30 years ago, AEG’s mission is to improve the lives of children through education. AEG provides food, schooling, counseling programs, medical clinics, protection and vocational training to over 12,000 children in 40 schools throughout Guatemala. AEG’s in-country director is quote as saying “these programs help feed children and provide an education for them that will enable them to succeed in life and venture forward in achieving a life sustaining career in the hopes that one day they will be completely self-reliant. This is their one best chance at a future.” Please visit www.reachnow.net for information regarding our partner, Reach Now International.

Visit www.stophungernow.org for more information on how to continue your involvement in the fight against hunger and follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/StopHungerNow for updates, videos and photos from the field.

Thank you for generously donating your time as a volunteer with Stop Hunger Now. We are sincerely grateful for your dedication and for sharing our vision of a world without hunger.

Warm regards,
