Sunday’s side notes:

The Word became flesh and made his home among us. (John 1:14a CEB)

Things to think about:

  • Are you ready for Jesus to come and make his home among you?
  • What do you need to do to ensure that Jesus stay in your house would be pristine?
  • If A.D. stands for The Year of the Lord how are you going to make your life reflect that this year was truly the year that the Lord worked on you and through you?

Quote to Ponder:

“Grin and bear it is old-fashioned advice, but sing and bear it is a great deal better.”—Charles Spurgeon John Ploughman’s Talks (New York: Sheldon & Company, n.d.), 35.
