Above are the front restored doors at Calumet United Methodist Church. When I first got to the Church in 2009, these doors were in dire need of either being replaced or being restored.  Our trusties worked on getting this done, we replaced are few other doors that were just barely hanging on and added paint to some that paint was all that they needed. Then we got to these main doors. I wish i had a before picture for you to show you bad they were. We had a few people in the Church step up and say that they could attempt to save the doors, and after a few weeks of work the crew completed their task last Saturday. They look great. I don’t think this picture does it justice to how good these doors look.

Think about it if we work at it the Church can be renewed and reformed just like these doors, But it takes work we can’t just sit back and do nothing. We have to do something. It may mean getting new doors or it may mean we need to take what we have and allow the Holy Spirit to come and refinish our doors. What do you need to do?
