Honoring a Life with Grace and Dignity
Saying goodbye is one of the most sacred moments in the human experience. I am an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. I provide a steady, compassionate presence for families. I support them as they navigate the pain of loss. I am here to assist you in designing a ceremony. It could be a funeral, memorial service, or celebration of life that truly honors your loved one’s legacy. This process offers a path toward healing.
Inclusive Care for Every Family
Grief does not discriminate, and neither does grace. My ministry is proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming and open to all families, regardless of their religious background or church affiliation. Whether your loved one was a person of deep faith, someone who found spirituality in nature, or someone who didn’t identify with a tradition at all, I will work with you to create a service that is:
- Spiritually Grounded: Rooted in hope and peace.
- Personalized: Focused on the unique stories and personality of the deceased.
- Inclusive: A safe space for all family structures and identities to mourn and remember.
Walking With You Through Grief
My role begins long before the service starts. I offer pastoral care and bereavement support to help you process your loss and plan the logistics of the day. Whether we gather in a funeral home, a church sanctuary, a graveside, or a unique community space, I am committed to:
I do not have a set fee for funeral services. End-of-life expenses can be a significant burden. I ask for a gift or honorarium that feels appropriate for your circumstances. My focus is on the ministry of presence. I am also focused on the celebration of life. I am grateful for whatever way you choose to show your appreciation.
