Romans 12:1-2 (CEB)

1 So, brothers and sisters, because of God’s mercies, I encourage you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to God. This is your appropriate priestly service. 2 Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature.

Hard to believe that in 27 days we will be celebrating the season of Advent. Advent is the first season of the Christian church year. It is the season of preparation were we wait, anticipate, expect the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Hard to believe that in 27 days we will be celebrating the season of Advent. Advent is the first season of the Christian church year. It is the season of preparation were we wait, anticipate, expect the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This year for advent we will be studying the book: Under Wraps: The Gift We Neve Expected.  We will be using it in all of our small groups and  with the youth and children’s ministries. An Advent email will be sent out to those who subscribe to the churches weekly e-connection next week sharing with you all the activities and events we have planned for advent. I pray that you join us for worship and one of our small groups as we study this as a church together.
