We Will be using this on Sunday while our Wednesday Night Group leads Sunday Worship. 

Statement of Faith

Kids: We Believe In A God of Love, Do you?

Congregation: Yes We Do!

Kids: We Believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, Do You?

Congregation: Yes We Do!

Kids: We Believe in the Holy Spirit that is the wind of life, Do You?

Congregation: Yes We Do!

Kids: We believe that we are the Church, Do you?

Congregation: Yes We Do!

All: Lord we are here today to worship you, come and be with us, inspires us to give our lives to you so you can use us to build your kingdom here. Amen.

Called To Serve: A Month of Service

Luke 4:16-20 Common English Bible

16 Jesus went to Nazareth, where he had been raised. On the Sabbath he went to the synagogue as he normally did and stood up to read. 17 The synagogue assistant gave him the scroll from the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me.
He has sent me to preach good news to the poor,
to proclaim release to the prisoners
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to liberate the oppressed,
19     and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

20 He rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the synagogue assistant, and sat down. Every eye in the synagogue was fixed on him.

This text is known by some as Jesus mission statement. It sets up Jesus mission here on earth. Jesus was called to serve. We are called to serve. In the month of April Calumet United Methodist Church and Red Rock United Methodist Church will have 3 opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. Come and be apart of these great events.

Service Opportunity No.1 April 7th: at Canyon Camp.

10:15 a.m. Depart from Red Rock UMC

11:00 a.m. Worship in the Tabernacle

12:00 pm: Lunch in Cafeteria

Lunch Cost: $8.00 per Adult $4.00 Children 1-7

1:30-4:00 p.m. Service Project around the Camp Grounds

Sign up Sheets will be at both Churches need to let Pastor Matt know by April 1st

Service Opportunity No. 2 Town Clean Up & Town Bake Off

April 20th: Calumet Town Clean Times TBA

Service Opportunity No.3 Regional Food Bank

April 28th Regional Food Bank

We are only allowed to bring 30 people so each church will be limited to 15 people sign up sheets will appear at worship starting April 14th
